A Zoom G9.2tt Review Brings Back the Past

Tuesday, November 15th, 2011

As I write my article for a Zoom G9.2tt review site, I couldn’t help but remember my ex-boyfriend Scott. Scott was one of those musically inclined guys but their inclination towards music is never revealed by the way they present themselves to the world. Scott looked like a very ordinary guy. In fact, if you pass by him at a crowded place, you’d never give him a second glance. Oh he’s not ugly, mind you. He even borders on “really good looking.” It’s just that he has this amused and genial look about him that makes you instantly comfortable.

Guitar pedals brings him back to mind because of all my boyfriends, it was Scott who’d play his guitar for me when I felt sad. He was really good at it and he also has a good voice. He went away once to work at another city; and of course, that made me miss him. Even when it was the middle of the night and he was dead tired, Scott would take his guitar and play for me over the phone until I fall asleep.

It’s simply amazing what a Zoom guitar effects pedal can stir a person’s memory. I hope Scott is happy wherever he is.

Life Without Musicians and Bands

Wednesday, August 10th, 2011

Musicians and bands play a key part, in providing entertainment and enjoyment to the entire world. Can you imagine a world without music? Without music, the memories of life would seem plain and just boring; there is always a song that can put us back into a memory that gives us delight, or chills. With music playing such a vital role in our lives it must also be a vital instrument in our children live. Children are being robbed of music programs, which can keep them off the street, and in some cases, provide them with scholarships. The fact that we have to fight to keep such an important program in the lives of our children is unbelievable, with all the money that the government is shipping off to other countries; you would at least think that would remember the children right here at home. Be a leader and tell you state, to bring the music back home.

NJ nightlife include events such as comedy parades, amusement rides, beach trains, and Ferris wheels are entertaining and fun for all ages and very popular among tourists holidaying in the beach clubs of New Jersey. Kids especially, enjoy the aquariums that provide amusement, impart knowledge and increase awareness about marine life. Some of the special days are celebrated in high spirits. Regarding nightlife, amateur musicians can test their songs during open mic nights. Music lovers have other options too since live bands and concerts are very common, especially during summer.

Lastly, fireworks are also seen often during summer. The lovely colors that appear to be dancing over the water are breathtaking and not to be missed by anyone spending their vacation in a beach club in New Jersey.

Rave Wear for Enjoying Your Experience

Saturday, June 18th, 2011

Enjoying raves can be easy as long as you select the right rave wear. There are more and more electronic music festivals popping up around the world as this genre of music is flooding the scene. One of the best parts about festivals and raves is the clothing that people wear. Everything from fun and outrageous costumes to the minimal and sexy wear of women is meant to be enjoyed! One particular feature you’ll notice about these outfits are the colors. There’s no limit to what you can wear. Rave outfits come in a variety of types, but mainly the colors are meant to stand out! Another thing you’ll notice is that matching is not important AT ALL! People don’t care if you match or if you look at all “normal”. Expression is key and can make for maximum enjoyment. Just be prepared to wear your costume for hours on end, don’t forget that you’ll dancing and rocking out in it too!

Should You Buy a New or Vintage Analog Synth?

Saturday, May 21st, 2011

When combing through the myriad of analog synths on the internet, you ultimately ask yourself if you want to buy it new or used (vintage). This is definitely a tough call because vintage analog synths can not only be extremely cool, but they can also be worth a lot of money. A classic Moog Voyager can still fetch a pretty penny on eBay.

Personally as a synth collector I definitely value the vintage models, but for the gigging musician you will definitely want a newer one which will hold up to the rigors of the road better. Although the vintage ones were definitely built to last, you definitely do not want to be tempting fate and ruining your prize possession on stage.

So basically there is no definitive answer to the question of whether or not you should buy new or used. It all depends on if you are a collector or performing musician I suppose.

Sonic Producer is Easy to Operate

Thursday, April 7th, 2011

Online software programs have some pros and cons associated with them. The pros are that they do not pose threat to your computer as they do not carry any viruses. Another benefit is the non dependence on the operating system on your computer. Your computer may run on any operating system, the program will run in the browser window, independent of the operating system. Also, there is no need to download and install and it does not require any drives like a CD drive to get installed. It does not take up as much resources as a program that is actually installed on your computer. When we think of cons, the biggest one is that it sometimes gets dependent on internet connectivity and speed. It is impossible to work on such software if there is no internet connection. The new Sonic Producer, which is beat making software, is totally online and you must consider all the pros and cons before buying it.

Trying to Get Tom to Go out with Me

Wednesday, April 6th, 2011

Tom was so happy. I had just given him some subwoofer boxes that I bought for him from the Subwoofer Sales website. He could not believe that I would go out of my way like this for him, but how else was I supposed to get the message to this guy that I was madly in love with him? I never told Tom how I felt. I was kind of embarrassed about doing that. So, I was dropping him the hints by doing nice things for him. My hope was that he would catch on and ask me out. Tom and I worked together to set up the subwoofer boxes. He was so happy that I gave him some enhancements that will help him to enjoy his music way better than ever before. Now, I am hoping that it will not be too long before the man asks me out. I think it will happen sooner or later, especially if I keep doing what I’m doing.

The Best Beats You Can Afford?

Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011

If you are looking to make a demo, a mix tape, or even an album, as a vocalist or rapper, you need great beats. How can you, get great beats, on a budget? It’s time to find a beat site you can use.

If you want the top level beats, it’s easy to think you’ll need to spend top level prices. If you’ve visited some beat sites, you may still feel this way, but it’s not always the case. Fortunately, the right beat site should give you top drawer beats, without top drawer prices.

Finding a site that gives you high quality sound, without costing major money, can be tough. But the dream of getting high powered beats can be realized, if you know where to look.

Take a site like beats365, for example. There, the beats are made by a professional beat maker, with years of experience. Exclusive membership packages mean that the beats aren’t accessible to non-members, so the beats aren’t played out either. This kind of thing is rare, but possible.

My Name is London DJ and I Will Tell You What a Turntable Scratch is

Monday, March 21st, 2011

My name is London DJ and I will tell you what a turntable scratch is.

Scratching (from English “to scratch”) is the current jargon of production of sounds by rhythmically back and forth movement of a record on a turntable. Here, the record is on a slip mat, making it possible for the turntable to rotate and record independently. In most cases, record-players are also used with pickups fitted on the groove and are designed for stable robust. Scratching was invented in 1975 by Grand Wizard Theodore and it quickly became an integral part of Disco Jockeying in hip-hop music.

After the spread of scratching within the Hip-Hop from the late 1970s, it was the hit single Rock it by Herbie Hancock to first incorporate scratch music. Especially in the 2000s, a number of different techniques were developed for production of certain sounds and rhythms. This led to Turntablism, an DJ artform based scratching.

More Drum Lessons then You Can Handle

Sunday, December 5th, 2010

I was almost blown away after reading a recent drumming system review published online. I had seen other dvd home study drum courses and even considered purchasing one in the past, but what this course appeared to cover went above and beyond everything else I’d seen on the market. The course was targeting beginner and intermediate drummers with a 20 DVD set. It started with the absolute basics which most beginners would likely want to skip over but it also gave some great intermediate lessons on fills and styles that a drummer could jump right into if they’ve already had a little bit of formal education on the instrument. The cost seemed to be about 10-20% of a years worth of private drum lessons but you get to keep the course content so you could review it at anytime which is nice. I think for a beginner drummer or someone who feels like they want to learn more and don’t know where to turn this would be a great investment.

Ibanez Rg1527 — What If You Don’t Have All You Want?

Friday, July 16th, 2010

There are many views to be seen in Ibanez RG1527 reviews. You see folks who’d tell you it’s the perfect guitar and you’ll hear folks who complain about one feature or the absence of another. what should a player do if they don’t have all they want in a guitar?

i. First and foremost, you can change what you don’t like provided they have to do with parts that can be changed without destroying the guitar. You can’t change your guitar’s tonewood, for example. However, you can change your guitar’s pickups and a few other things.

ii. There are really very few serious guitarists who have only one guitar. I doubt there’s any. Why is this so? It’s because different guitars bring different stuff to the table — Even if they are custom made for you they won’t be everything at the same time. For example, there are things that only an acoustic guitar would achieve. For those you must get an acoustic guitar — Period!
