A Zoom G9.2tt Review Brings Back the Past

Tuesday, November 15th, 2011

As I write my article for a Zoom G9.2tt review site, I couldn’t help but remember my ex-boyfriend Scott. Scott was one of those musically inclined guys but their inclination towards music is never revealed by the way they present themselves to the world. Scott looked like a very ordinary guy. In fact, if you pass by him at a crowded place, you’d never give him a second glance. Oh he’s not ugly, mind you. He even borders on “really good looking.” It’s just that he has this amused and genial look about him that makes you instantly comfortable.

Guitar pedals brings him back to mind because of all my boyfriends, it was Scott who’d play his guitar for me when I felt sad. He was really good at it and he also has a good voice. He went away once to work at another city; and of course, that made me miss him. Even when it was the middle of the night and he was dead tired, Scott would take his guitar and play for me over the phone until I fall asleep.

It’s simply amazing what a Zoom guitar effects pedal can stir a person’s memory. I hope Scott is happy wherever he is.

Critiques on Panasonic 45-200mm Lens

Friday, November 11th, 2011

You’ll find several characteristics of this Panasonic 45-200mm lens which can make someone think that this lens is not a good one. The foremost reason is that the Panasonic has not established a good reputation in manufacturing the finest lenses for their cameras. However, everything in this lens is great. You will really get the chance to explore your creativity with this particular lens. The autofocus performance on this camera is commendable. The Panasonic 45-200mm is a telephoto lens that has narrow angle of view. You will be able to capture lovely and soft portraits due to the focal length and large aperture. The vignetting figures are very high throughout the focal range as well as aperture ranges. There is not much you can do to fix this issue. The lens also has a good distortion control which provides greater photography experience. I do not see any changes on my pictures though.

Bubble Shooter the Best Game Ever

Thursday, October 27th, 2011

These days of online technology, many had resorted to the ease of the Internet to search for time killing activities. And of the millions of games available online, there is one that has always gained favor from most online gamers. That is none other than bubble shooters!

The online game of Bubble Shooter, as what the name suggests, is a strategy game requiring a precise eye, and logical thinking to gain victory. In this game, the player should remove the bubbles in the game area by shooting them. It’s not just simple shooting because the player needs to strategize first where he should shoot the bubble. The bubbles can only pop and be removed from the area when they are shot with a bubble of the same color. Bubble shooters are a game of time pressure. The free space in the game area decreases as the countdown continues to go on. The player should shoot and pop the bubbles before time or space runs out.

My Photo Book is Online

Sunday, October 23rd, 2011

I am so amazed and happy with my photo book, I created it thinking that it would just be on my computer and only be available to me but it is online over the internet. This means that all my family who live far away from me just need my log in details and they are able to look at it too! It’s a great way for us all to keep in touch, for example, my sister recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy and unfortunately my parents live to far away to come and witness the birth. But, thanks to photo book they can see him and aren’t missing out on any stage of him growing up! It’s great and means that as a family we don’t feel separated and are constantly kept in touch. I advise anyone who is trying to keep in touch with close relatives, like me, to get one. You will love it.

Dish Networks # 1!

Sunday, October 2nd, 2011

I just moved into my new place. I called dish to inquire about their services. I found out rather quickly that Dish Networks amazing deals were one of a kind. I come from a family who was stuck solely on cable. My family would have a fit if they knew that I went with satellite TV. However, this is my house and I am grown so there’s not much they can say. I never really liked the cable that much. To me it was overpriced. Now that I have Dish, I can name a number of things that was missing with cable that I now have.

It’s hard to come across a great deal all the time. When you do, I say go with it! There’s nothing like being provided great satellite TV service at a price that can’t be beat! I have had no problem out of my services and surprisingly, my parents didn’t say anything when they came to visit.

The Value of Converting Photos to Paintings

Thursday, September 29th, 2011

Since the beginning of the digital age, the idea of taking the time to sit down and draw has largely diminution. After all, why spend hours in front of a canvas to create an image that won’t be nearly as accurate of the digital snapshot captured within a few seconds? People who think this way highly underestimate the value of converting photos to paintings. Drawing portraits has never been big in the United States; its primary grasp is latched onto the history of Eastern European nations. Kings, queens, and other figures of prominence often conscripted revered artists to capture them on a canvas.

However, making the conversion is a great way to reflect your family history or heritage. If you have an old photo of deteriorating quality, it can be recreated to restore whatever might have been lost. These paintings can also add a great renaissance flavor to your home.

Be Generous to Students by Giving Tips on Photography

Sunday, September 25th, 2011

Janine was the only teenager who was allowed to take Wendy’s ‘tips on photography‘ class. Every day, she’d go to Wendy’s house and sit in the studio. She’d make Wendy some lemon chicken in a dish. This was a recipe she had learnt from Gwyneth Paltrow’s blog ‘GOOP’. She would dress up in the restrained, beige style of Gwyneth Paltrow every day. Janine had an old film camera that had belonged to her feminist mother in college. Wendy and Janine would practice taking photographs every day after Janine got back from school. Janine liked to make props for her Gwyneth-inspired pictures. One day, she made a huge set that depicted England during the time of Queen Elizabeth I. The set was obviously inspired by the movie ‘Shakespeare in Love’, a movie she had seen hundreds of times. The set had stucco work that had taken weeks to make with plaster and glue. She painstakingly painted designs on the set. In the end, the result was quite beautiful.

The Compromise in Compromise

Tuesday, September 20th, 2011

Artistic wedding photography makes for an interesting debate which the couple concerned will have to tackle. Do they go for the ultra artistic (at whatever price) or the more customary wedding shots with decidedly more warmth and soul. Some might argue – and professional photographers will probably agree as much – that a compromise can be reached. This is of course the ideal case, but as with all compromises, something is inevitably lost somewhere; it’s the challenge for both parties. For the Denver wedding photographer, this challenge is perhaps all too familiar. Perhaps to combat the compromise, the couple should best have some sort of specific goal in mind, rather than just acquiring the services of any photographer to point and shoot, and should have a clear idea of what they want from their photos. One day they’re going to look at those photos and if their goals were met, the memories will be all the more sweeter.

The Wonderful Campanile on the Church

Monday, September 12th, 2011

The first thing one notices upon viewing Westminster Cathedral is the campanile. Everyday gruops of people stare up at it, like zombies. Indeed, this tower can be seen throughout the city. However, it does not mimic the towers of London’s gothic churches. For instance, the windows set into the campanile are surrounded by white stone. They stand out magnificently against the banding, and are memorable and unique architectural details. Further, the exterior of the building features ‘banding’. This banding creates the ‘streaky bacon effect’, which cannot be seen on any other London churches. Finally, there are three large Byzantine style domes atop the main section of the Cathedral. These domes are truly authentic Byzantium recreations, and they too are unique to this Cathedral. It is so nice to look up at it and think about all of the great history and all of the priests that preached in that great place.

Avoid Spoiling Movies by Watching It on DVD

Thursday, September 8th, 2011

There are numerous benefits to watching a movie through a DVD, rather than the movie theater. One benefit is the fact that you miss out on the movie trailers. Yes, movie trailers have a purpose. However, the same trailers tend to be misleading.

For most of the newly movies, they often put the best parts or scenes from the movies in the theatrical trailers that are run on various channels and also put online. This is done to lure you into the movie of which you think is great, but in actual fact is a snooze waiting to happen. This can easily be avoided by watching DVDs.

DVDs have a function that cannot be ignored, fast forward or skip. You can skip these trailers and watch movies without the spoilers of trailers. Fear not as you can still watch the latest movies through watching the new release dvds, enjoying the best of both worlds.

Life Without Musicians and Bands

Wednesday, August 10th, 2011

Musicians and bands play a key part, in providing entertainment and enjoyment to the entire world. Can you imagine a world without music? Without music, the memories of life would seem plain and just boring; there is always a song that can put us back into a memory that gives us delight, or chills. With music playing such a vital role in our lives it must also be a vital instrument in our children live. Children are being robbed of music programs, which can keep them off the street, and in some cases, provide them with scholarships. The fact that we have to fight to keep such an important program in the lives of our children is unbelievable, with all the money that the government is shipping off to other countries; you would at least think that would remember the children right here at home. Be a leader and tell you state, to bring the music back home.

International Travel Health Insurance Protects Comedians Working Abroad

Wednesday, July 20th, 2011

For a comedian, doing shows overseas can be an interesting challenge for multiple reasons. If you are up to these challenges, you will need to make sure you are traveling with the protection that international travel health insurance provides.

One challenge you will face is that a sense of humor is a very tricky thing, and it can vary from country to country. Part of that can be attributed to the language barrier, Words can mean something different in one country than they mean in another, so the meaning of your joke may quite literally get lost in translation.

So in traveling to another country to tell jokes, you are accepting the challenge of getting the meaning across and winning over a crowd whose comprehension of you might be low. Another major challenge you face might arise if you become ill or injured. How will you get affordable healthcare?

The answer to that question lies in international travel health insurance. These policies are accepted around the globe, letting you visit doctors and hospitals for the care you need at low prices.

The Cubism Art of Pablo Picasso

Tuesday, July 5th, 2011

The cubist art of Pablo Picasso is very interesting, and being a devotee to abstract canvas prints, naturally I’m drawn to Picasso’s works. He alternates between vivid coloring and more earth colors in his cubist work, making for an interesting contrast among Picasso’s work. Much of his cubist work portrays an individual person with a commentary on the subject. The Weeping Woman, painted in 1937, is a nice example of this kind of commentary. The Weeping Woman is primarily portrayed with bright, vivid colors. These colors are a sharp contrast from the woman depicted in the painting. The colors suggest a happy atmosphere, but the subject herself is not happy. Her anguish is better reflected by the metallic coloring at the center of the portrait. These colors suggest the world has become dull and devoid of life, much more in line with the woman herself. This type of depth with Picasso’s work is why I enjoy him as an artist, especially his work with cubism.
